1. Download the launcher. If your browser warns that it isn't commonly downloaded or may be dangerous (often in red), keep it:
   • Edge: hover over the download, click ··· → Keep → Show more → Keep anyway.
   • Chrome: press Ctrl+J, click ⋮ next to the file and choose Keep (it may say Keep dangerous file).
   It's flagged because it's new and unsigned, so browsers and Windows don't know it yet.
2. If the file vanishes — Windows says it found a threat, or it just isn't in your Downloads folder — Microsoft Defender guessed wrong about it. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history, find the JoinNSClan entry, and choose Actions → Restore.
3. Close Counter-Strike if it's running, then open the file. You can move it (to your Desktop, say), but don't rename it before it has run once.
4. “Windows protected your PC” (a blue box): click More info, then Run anyway. If Windows asks “Do you want to run this file?” instead, click Run.
5. Windows Firewall may ask about the launcher. Click Allow access if you can; Cancel works too, the connection may just go through a relay and be a little slower.
6. A black window counts [1/3] to [3/3], then Counter-Strike opens and joins. Keep that window open while you play: closing it disconnects you.
7. Next time: close Counter-Strike and run the same file again. No website, no code.

The game opened but didn't join? Press ~ and type the connect 127.0.0.1:… line the black window shows. Windows says Smart App Control blocked it and there's no Run anyway? That setting blocks every unsigned program, this one included: ask the server admin. The window says Something went wrong? Send a screenshot of it to the server admin.
